Reporting to the Territory Lead HRBP, support the Retail HR and Management Teams by contributing to the delivery of day to day HR deliverables, playing a pivotal role in coaching, facilitating and supporting line managers with effective HR advice and guidance in all aspects of people related matters


You will:
•Provide coaching and advice to Retail line managers on all people related issues, including company policies and employment practise, proactive management of absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance issues
•Work with ER support teams on ER cases to ensure successful and timely resolution and mitigation of risk
•Advise and support Retail line managers on disciplinary and grievance issues to successful resolution either in the capacity of note taker and support, or lead advisor, as required
•Support Retail line managers in tackling under performance in a fair and effective way, to reduce performance management grievance/whistleblowing cases
•Review and support the management of long term sick cases, working in partnership with the management teams to proactively manage cases to a successful and timely conclusion
•Support and drive colleague engagement through analysis of engagement results/feedback, participating in listening groups and colleague feedback forums
•Support and assist with collating HR data when required and analysing HRMI to produce detailed divisional reports including labour turnover, data mapping etc
•Support and embed the roll out of people related initiatives and changes across the divisions
•Proactively work with the Centres of Excellence, providing input and feedback, to ensure a seamless experience for colleagues with all people initiatives/ways of working

Primary accountabilities of the role:
•Work independently and as part of the territory HR team to develop the Dixons Carphone business
•Work with the Senior HRBPs on improving HR metrics across the divisions
•Support and help land the Company Vision and UK Retail HR People plan


You will need:
•Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal skills
•Experience within a fast-paced environment committed to customer service and colleague experience
•Able to operate with discretion, reliability and role model our leadership behaviours/values
•The ability to influence key stakeholders across the Division/Centres of Excellence
•Hands on attitude, flexible and adaptable and will to provide additional discretionary effort when the team is in need
•Ability to identify opportunities to improve HR process and procedures
•Excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills across core office applications
•Effective communicator with good data presentation skills and an ability to summarise key findings and make recommendations
•Prepared to travel, with time away from home
•Experience of working at a generalist HR advisor or equivalent level
•Ideally CIPD qualified
